Website ads

What kind of ads?

You should use ads targeted to your content, but, targeted to the specific page, do not use that old kind of ads where you had to add a code that gives you ads in a specific category like "computers", because it is not as good as ads targeted to the page content.

So, what do you recommend me?

There are a lot of services available on the internet, but not all of them have a good targeting system as Google Adsense, which is powered by it's own search engine technology that I'm sure you use every time you need to find something on the internet. An other service is ClickSor, it gives you targeted ads too, but there are not too much advertisers, and it's engine doesn't works as good as Adsense one, for example, you may get only ads that says "see your message here", "contextual advertising", but, it always depends on the content of your site, and also, you have to let it's robot check each of your website pages to know what kind of ads it should display.

Any links?

I made it in pourpose to put the links in an other part, why? because both, Google Adsense and ClickSor, offers referrals system, the Google Adsense referrals system is a banner like the next one:

Which looks great, also, you have a wide range of ways to display the refferal link, like small buttons or even as plain text!.
I don't know how exactly the ClickSor referrals system works, because I use Adsense, not ClickSor. If you want to check out, go to ClickSor.com.

Pros and Cons of both services

Since I'm not just going to say "use Google Adsense" (which I really recommend), here's a small explanation.
Google Adsense has a lot of advertisers, so it is almost impossible that you get public service ads (the ones you don't get any revenue), so it is a good option, an other pro is that when a user is referred by someone else, and earns USD $100, the person who referred is going to get USD $100 too!. And now Adsense provides other kind of referrals, not only for his Google Adsense program, also for Firefox (with the Google Toolbar), Picassa and Adworks (the other part of the Google's ads service).
ClickSor pros: There are many different ways to show ads, not just banners. ClickSor cons: few advertisers (compared to Google Adsense); sometimes the websites takes a little more time to open because of the ads.

Other Services

If you are looking for a different service, you might be interested in the these: Adbrite, AdEngage, Adgenta, Adhearus, BannerBoxes, Bidclix, Bidvertiser, Chitika, ClicksAdsDirect, Fastclick, Intellitxt, Kanoodle, RevenuePilot, TargetPoint, Vibrant Media, Yahoo!
If you have tried any of the services listed above, or you know about any other service that isn't listed please contact us.

That's all?

Well, as I said before, the other part of Google's ads service is Adworks, so, if you are going to use Google Adsense, why don't you But of course to improve your results don't stick with only one service provider. So, why don't you start selling text ads with $100 in free links!.
